Continuing my newfound proud tradition of making semi-pro (okay amateur) quidditch club logos, this is one I designed for a team that is–yes–called Burke Quidditch Club or Burke Q.C. an allude to the F.C. for football (soccer) teams. It is a bit of influence from the Colorado Rapids logo, but it was used with the warp brush tools in illustrator and a lot of filters.

Our class was assigned to design a logo for an international, non-profit organization known as Chalk 4 Peace. We were suggested to have a sole logo or icon for C4P, a color scheme, as well as the words of the organization (evident enough).
It took about four or five drafts before I came to a final product I really felt satifised with. One that I felt would best symbolize the organization. The rough draft (below) was to show a globe in a smudge-like texture, that I made with a translucent blur brush in Adobe Illustrator CS5. The idea was to give it a semi-translucent, chalk look.

This was my final exam project for Computer Graphics 2: make a Photostory using Audacity, and either Windows Movie Maker 2 or iMovie. Using iMovie, and the built in jack on my Mac I made this photostory and submitted it on Blackboard:
